  1. Copy or Text. The copy for your ad can not exceed 50 words total. All copy should begin with a headline or a short one line descriptive phrase or use the name of your company. The body copy should have your phone number, web address, and email address (depending on how you wish readers to reach you.)
    Remember to keep it short and think in terms of features and benefits when writing about your product.

    If copy exceeds this word count, it will be sent back to you to be shortened to the proper length. Copy or text for your ad should be typed or hand written clearly on a separate sheet of paper with your company name, contacts name, and phone number where you can be reached to answer any questions about your ad.
  2. Photos. Photographs or transparencies should be submitted in 35mm 2.5x2.5, 4x5 or 8x10 format.
  3. Digital Format (disk). If you have high resolution 300 dpi digital art, submit your art on CD-ROM. The format of your photo is very important to us. So, please set up your product to be shown at its best. The size of the finished ad is 2 “ tall and 2.421” wide.

GENERAL
  1. Oh So… Ruidoso magazine reserves the right to decline any advertisement that it judges to be inappropriate or undesirable for any reason.
  2. Oh So… Ruidoso magazine reserves the right to edit copy or to redesign any advertisement that does not meet the quality requirements established by the magazine. However, no alterations to original copy or ad format will be published without the advertiser’s consent.
  3. Positioning of ads is at the sole discretion of the magazine.
  4. All advertisers will be given notification of the deadlines for each issue. All advertisers, even those on contract, must contact the advertising manager to reserve space in a given issue.
  5. No cancellations will be accepted after the closing date of each issue. The advertiser will still be charged for the reserved space.
  6. Errors for which the magazine is responsible shall not be credited in excels of the cost of the space occupied by the error. Oh So… Ruidoso magazine requires written notification of such errors within 30 days of publication if credit is to be given.
  7. All artwork submitted will be held until the printing process is complete.
  8. Ad changes for new and existing ads must be faxed or written. Oh So… Ruidoso will not accept or be held responsible for verbal change orders.
  9. Marketplace is sold on a first-come, firstserved basis. A signed contract will reserve a space for you. All Marketplace ads are prepaid per issue; payment is due with artwork at the materials deadline date.
  10. Once the graphic department has completed the Marketplace layout, you will be given a website address for online viewing and proofing of your ad.
